When you make a reservation, you’ll be asked for your name, address, telephone number, email address, payment details, the names of guests traveling with you and your preferences for your stay.

To make it easier to manage your reservations, you can open a user account. This allows you to save your personal settings, review previous bookings and manage future reservations.

When you visit our website, even if you don’t make a reservation, we may collect certain information, like your IP address, or browser, and information about your computer’s operating system, application version, language settings and pages that have been shown to you. If you’re using a mobile device, we might also collect data that identifies your mobile device, device-specific settings and characteristics and latitude/longitude details.

We may also receive information about you when you use certain social media services.

 

Why does LEMMETravel.com® collect, use and share your personal data?

  • Reservations: First and foremost, we use your personal data to complete and administer your online reservation and forward your reservation details to the accommodation you have booked.
  • Customer service: We provide international customer service 24/7 from our local offices in more than 8 languages. Sharing your details with our global customer service allows for a quick response when you need us – including helping you find an appropriate services and any questions you might have about your reservation.
  • Guest reviews: We may use your contact information to invite you to write a guest review after your stay. This can help other LEMMETravel.com® choose a place to stay that suits them best.
  • Account administration: We offer a user account facility on our website. We use the information you give us to administer this, allowing you to manage your bookings, take advantage of special offers, make future reservations more easily and manage your personal settings. Managing personal settings allows you to keep and share lists, share photos, see properties that you’ve searched for before, and see other information you’ve provided about accommodations and destinations. It also allows you to see any reviews you submitted about places you stayed in. If you want, you can share certain information in your user account by creating a public profile that’s associated with either your own first name or a screen name of your choice. The type of information you can share on this platform includes your photo, the names of places you’ve stayed in, your lists, your plans for future trips, your reviews and other information about services and destinations.
  • Marketing activities: We also use your information for marketing activities, as permitted by law. For example:
    • When you make a reservation with us or set up a user account, we may use your contact information to send you news about similar travel-related products and services. We also send our customers regular newsletters by email. You can opt out, or unsubscribe, from marketing communication at any time.
    • Based on the information you share with us, individualized offers may be shown to you on the LEMMETravel.com® website, in mobile apps or on third-party websites, including social media sites.
    • When we believe that a particular offer may be of interest to you, we may decide to make contact with you by phone.
  • Other communications: There may be other times when we get in touch by email, by post, by phone or by texting you, depending on the contact information you share with us. There could be a number of reasons for this:
    • We may need to respond to and handle requests you have made.
    • If you haven’t finalized a reservation online, we may email you a reminder to continue with your reservation. We believe that this additional service is useful to you because it allows you to carry on with a reservation without having to search for the service items again or fill in all the reservation details from scratch.
    • When you use our services, we may send you a questionnaire or invite you to provide a review about your experience with LEMMETravel.com®.
    • We may also send you other material related to your reservation, such as how to contact LEMMETravel.com® if you need assistance while you’re away, or a summary of previous reservations you made usingLEMMETravel.com®.
  • Market research: We sometimes ask our customers to take part in market research. Any additional personal details that you give us as part of the market research will only be used with your consent.
  • Fraud detection and prevention: We may use personal data for the detection and prevention of fraud and other illegal or unwanted activities.

We use social media to promote our services partners’ properties and to promote, improve and facilitate our own services website. For example, we integrated social media plugins into the LEMMETravel.com® website. So when you click on one of the buttons and register with your social media account, information is shared with your social media provider, and possibly presented on your social media profile to be shared with others in your network.

In addition to implementing these buttons, LEMMETravel.com® uses social media by maintaining accounts on several social media sites and by offering social apps. These social media services may allow you to share information with LEMMETravel.com®. When you register with a social media app, you’ll be told which information will be shared withLEMMETravel.com®. The information you choose to share with us may include the basic information that’s already available in your social media profile, email address, status updates and your friends list. This information is necessary to create a unique user experience either in the app itself or on our website.   • The accommodation you booked: In order to complete your reservation, we need to transfer relevant reservation details to the services (hotels/rentals/cars/cruises/tours/activities) you booked with. This may include information like your name, contact and payment details, the names of guests traveling with you and any preferences you specified when making a booking.
  • Your local LEMMETravel.com® office: In order to support you during the reservation process and throughout your stay, your details may be shared with subsidiaries of the LEMMETravel.com® corporate family. To find out more about the LEMMETravel.com® corporate family, visit About LEMMETravel.com®. Your information might also be shared with other members of the LEMMETravel.com® group (for example: Agoda.com, Rentalcars.com and Kayak.com) for analysis to provide you with travel-related offers that may be of interest to you and to offer you customized service.
  • Third-party service providers: We may use third-party service providers to process your personal information on our behalf for the purposes specified above. For example, we may use service providers to send the reservation information on our behalf to the service item you just booked, or we may instruct third parties to contact you. When a reservation requires it, we may also work with third-party payment service providers to facilitate payment or payment guarantees. We also work with third-party advertisement networks to market our accommodation and services on other platforms, or involve third-party providers for analytical purposes. These third parties involved in any of these services will be bound by confidentiality agreements and will not be allowed to use your personal information for any purposes other than those specified above.
  • Competent authorities: We work with partner websites around the world to distribute the service items listed on our website and mobile apps (Hotels/Rentals/Cars/Cruises/Tour/Activities). When you make a reservation on one of these business partners’ websites, certain personal information that you give them may be shared with us. Similarly, we may share information with this business partner, for example, as part of the administration of your account, in order to manage your reservation, so that they can address queries related to your reservation and for marketing purposes. We have free apps for a variety of mobile devices and use versions of our regular website that have been optimized for mobile. How does LEMMETravel.com® use guest reviews and other destination-related information you share with us?

After your use any service booked through us, you’ll be invited to submit a guest review, which may ask for information about the service item, the surrounding areas, and the destination. If you don’t want your name to show with your review, you can use your screen name (which you can choose in your user account) or it can be displayed anonymously. By completing a guest review, you’re agreeing that it can be displayed (as further described in our Terms and Conditions) on, for example, the relevant service information page on our websites, in our mobile apps, in our social media accounts and in social apps, or on the website of the relevant property or on our business partner’s website, to inform other LEMMETravel.com® about the quality of the service item you used.

What security procedures does LEMMETravel.com® put in place to safeguard your personal data?

We also use security procedures and technical and physical restrictions for accessing and using the personal information on our servers. Only authorized personnel are permitted to access personal information in the course of their work.

Your credit card details – when they are needed as part of the reservation process – are stored for a maximum of 10 days. After that, your credit card data will be either permanently deleted from our systems or will remain hashed in our system for fraud detection purposes. This is unless you have chosen to store your credit card details in your personal account.

 

Children

The services offered by LEMMETravel.com® are not directed at children under 18 years old. The use of any of our services is only allowed with the valid consent of a parent or a guardian. If we receive information from a child under 18 years old, we reserve the right to delete it.

How can you control the personal data you have given to LEMMETravel.com®?

You always have the right to review the personal information we keep about you. You can request an overview of your personal data by emailing us at [email protected] . Please write “Request personal information” in the subject line of your email and include a copy of your identity card to help us prevent unauthorized individuals from accessing your personal data.

If the personal information we have for you is incorrect, we will update it at your request. Hotel Booking Policy

Booking conditions

By making a reservation on LEMMETravel.com®, you accept and agree to the booking conditions of the accommodation, including the cancellation and no-show policies, as well as any additional (delivery) terms and conditions that may apply to your reservation or during your stay, including services rendered and/or products offered by the accommodation (the delivery terms and conditions of an accommodation can be obtained with the relevant accommodation).

Room reservations should be made in the name/s of the guest/s staying at the property. Please note that name changes are at the hotel’s discretion and cannot be guaranteed.

 

Late arrival and failure to check-in (no-show)

Some accommodations have a deadline for check-in, and failure to check in before this time can result in booking cancellation. If a customer feels that he/she might be delayed beyond the check-in deadline, they should get in touch with the accommodation and let them know.

If a customer wishes to cancel a refundable reservation, the cancellation needs to be confirmed with LEMMETravel.com® before the cancellation date. If the booking is non-refundable as per the cancellation policy, the customer will not receive any refund when the booking is cancelled.

If a customer fails to check in to the booked accommodation on the day of the booking and does not alert them in advance, the remaining duration of the reservation may be cancelled and a refund might not be applicable depending on the accommodation terms and conditions.

Even though the majority of accommodations offer specific timings for check-in and check-out, some might not have 24-hour desks. If the accommodation you booked is among the ones with no 24-hour desks, we recommend contacting the accommodation directly to notify them of your estimated check-in time.

 

Cancellations and amendments

There are different types of cancellation policies: Some reservations can’t be cancelled or amended, others penalize you for cancelling, and some are fully refundable. In some cases, bookings are fully refundable until the cancellation date, and after that either partially refundable or non-refundable. Customers are urged to carefully read the cancellation policy before confirming a reservation. The cancellation policy can be viewed in the room listing and under the booking summary on the traveler details and payment pages.

Customers also need to know that some rates and exclusive offers can’t be changed or cancelled. Certain accommodations charge extra for late or early check-out.

Any amendments to a booking need to be made by contacting the LEMMETravel.com® call center and are subject to availability and at the accommodation’s discretion.

Special requests

In most cases, an accommodation has clear policies regarding children, pets, and accompanying travelers. Customers are urged to check the policies on the accommodation details page or contact the LEMMETravel.com® support team for information regarding these policies.

While customers may place a special request while booking their stay, these are not guaranteed and are at the accommodation’s discretion. Additional charges may apply depending on the accommodation’s policies.

At the accommodation

If a customer was promised certain facilities in an accommodation but was not available upon arrival, they are encouraged to get in touch with the accommodation management to solve the issue. However, LEMMETravel.com® can’t guarantee the availability of any promised facilities found on the accommodation page on the website.

Flights Booking Policy

Flight booking policy

  • The total price displayed includes all applicable taxes and excludes all applicable airport tax or other charges payable at the airport.
  • You are required to pay the entire amount prior to the confirmation of your booking.
  • In most cases, there will be no refund for ‘no-shows’ or any partially unused flights.
  • Meals, frequent flyer miles and special service requests are on a request basis only and are subject to airline(s) confirmation.
  • For any information regarding your Frequent Flyer miles, please contact the airline directly.
  • Kindly ensure that prior to travelling, your passport has a validity of minimum 6 months from the date of travel for one-way flights and from the date of return for return trips. Please also make sure that you have the relevant visa and immigration clearance to travel to your destination.
  • To avail infant fares, an infant must be under 24 months old throughout the entire itinerary you are booking. This includes both one-way and return trips. If the infant is 24 months old or above on the return trip, you’ll need to make a separate booking using a child fare.
  • Infants must be accompanied by an adult of at least 18 years of age.
  • com® is not responsible for any schedule change by the airline after issuance of the ticket, but will keep you informed of any changes. It is advisable to reconfirm your flight timings 24 hours prior to your flight departure.
  • com® reserves the right to charge transaction fees for availing any LEMMETravel.com® service.
  • com® further reserves the right to alter any and all fees from time to time, without notice. You shall be liable to pay all applicable charges, fees, duties and taxes for availing any LEMMETravel.com® service.
  • Customers must comply with all the airline’s rules and restrictions on the carriage of pregnant women. Please contact the airline to confirm the airline’s policy. LEMMETravel.com® will not be able to process any refund should the airline refuse carriage.

Check-in

  • Passengers need to check in at least 3 hours prior to international flight departures, otherwise, they will be considered a no-show.
  • As per the airline rules, the standard check-in time begins 3 hours prior to departure.
  • Infants must have valid proof-of-age documents showing that the infant is under two years old.
  • It is your responsibility to carry the appropriate travel documents which include: a valid passport; visa for your destination; valid transit visa in case you are transiting through a destination that requires you to have a transit visa; and any immigration clearance required by your country.
  • com® will not be held responsible in case you are denied boarding.

Amendments

  • com® can assist you with amendments to most bookings but in some cases, you’ll need to contact the airline directly.
  • Every booking made on LEMMETravel.com® is subject to amendment charges levied by the airline, which may vary by flight and booking class.
  • If you amend your booking, you will be charged the difference in fare (if any), applicable when the amendment is made. However, if the new fare is lower than the original fare, the difference in the amount will not be refunded. The rebooking charges as applicable will be collected.
  • In addition to the airline’s amendment charges, LEMMETravel.com® charges a processing fee of SAR 30 per passenger for up to 4 passengers for amendments. A maximum SAR 120 will be charged for bookings with 5 or more passengers.
  • We’ll collect these charges from you when we make the changes to your travel plans. We’ll also collect the difference in fare (if any), applicable when the amendment is made, aside from any amendment fees charged by the airline (if applicable).
  • Depending on the airline’s policy, some booked fares may not be amended.

Cancellations

  • Every booking made on LEMMETravel.com® is subject to cancellation charges levied by the airline, which may vary by flight and booking class.
  • Some booked fares may be non-refundable as per the specific airline’s policy.
  • In addition to the airline’s cancellation charges, LEMMETravel.com® charges a processing fee of SAR 30 per passenger for up to 4 passengers for cancellations. A maximum SAR 120 will be charged for bookings with 5 or more passengers.
  • Only cancellation requests made through our customer support email, call center or WhatsApp number shall be entertained. LEMMETravel.com® shall not be liable for any cancellation requests made through any other medium including (but not limited to) letter mail, social media, etc.
  • Online and mobile cancellations: We currently do not fully support online and mobile cancellations.
  • Offline cancellations: We currently only accept cancellation requests through our customer support email, call center or WhatsApp number.
  • If your cancellation request is made less than 48 hours prior to departure, then you’ll need to contact our customer support team here .
  • If you have already checked in with the airline, whether at the airport or via online or phone check-in (also known as a ‘Web/Tele Check-in’), please get in touch with the airline for cancellation. LEMMETravel.com® will not be able to process the refund and cannot take any responsibility for cancellations made directly between the passenger and the airline.
  • For any cancellation made by you, for which a refund is already processed and if it is found that you have in fact used or made changes to the ticket on the same PNR (Passenger Name Record) directly with the airline, LEMMETravel.com® reserves the right to debit your original mode of payment against the amount which has been refunded to you.
  • The service fee charged at the time of booking is non-refundable, so will not be refunded upon booking cancellation.

Refunds

  • It is mandatory to contact LEMMETravel.com® for all refunds, as the airline will not be able to refund tickets booked through LEMMETravel.com®.
  • Processing times for cancellation and refund requests vary.
  • Refund for partially utilized tickets (for e.g.: only one sector flown & other sector cancelled) may take 25 to 30 working days depending on the airline.
  • com® shall refund your booking amount after deducting cancellation charges only after the respective airline or service provider processes your eligible refund.
  • Ok to Board status requirement
  • Citizens of India, Bangladesh, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka would need an OK to Board status on their PNR and booking to visit any GCC countries. This is applicable for all paper visas and not for the ones stamped on your passport.
